Elton Britt was the first country artist to receive a gold disc award for his 1942 hit song, "There's a Star-Spangled Banner Waving Somewhere". The patriotic ballad sold over a million copies by 1944 and was the first gold record in country music history. I realize that we are not selling Elton Britt's music but we are selling the home of some nostalgic memories and ornery shenanigans. This beautiful property has both well preserved woodland and lovely fields.
